Limassol Entries Coming In

3 July 2008 - Teams looking for sun, fun and festival-style dragon boat racing are heading for Limassol, Cyprus on 18 & 19 October. Early reports indicate there will be teams attending from Dubai, Russia, the US and the Netherlands together with local teams from Cyprus.

The European Dragon Boat Federation is a Member of the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) and recognised by the IDBF as the specific Governing Body for Dragon Boating in Europe.
The IDBF is the world governing authority for Dragon Boat Sport and the Member International Federation of SportAccord (the General Association of International Sports Associations) specifically for Dragon Boating. SportAccord is an International Olympic Committee (IOC) recognised sports association.
The IDBF is also an International Federation recognised by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and is a Founder Member of the Association of International Paddle Sports Federation (AIPSF).
